Ingredients for 1 kg of berriquocoli:

Flour 600g

sugar 330g

candied orange peel 20 grams

honey 50 gr

ammonia for desserts 5 g

anise seeds, crushed 7 gr

coriander, crushed 8 gr

walnuts 30 gr.

PREPARATION

In a saucepan on fire prepare a syrup by mixing sugar with 330 grams of water to obtain a liquid stringy.

On a pastry board put the flour then add the hot syrup, honey, candied orange peel, finely chopped, seeds of anise and coriander finely crushed, coarsely chopped walnuts and then add ammonia.

Mix the ingredients well then create small loaves and from these, create some cylinders of about 5 centimeters in diameter.

Now cut the cylinders forming rudimentary spheres and slightly crushing them, create cookies quite rough and the shape is not well defined.

Arrange the biscuits in a baking pan dusted with flour and bake at 130 ° C for about 15 minutes.

Serve cold.
