The World’s Best Cannoli Dip – Family Recipe

Jann’s Famous Cannoli Dip – Family Recipe

The Best Cannoli Dip Ever!

WARNING – IF YOU BRING THIS TO A PARTY, PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS ASK YOU TO BRING IT ALWAYS

This is our personal cannoli dip recipe. It was passed down from Dominic’s wife’s family and modified to our liking. We usually make a double batch and freeze half for later. Whenever we are invited somewhere, everyone asks us to bring cannoli dip.

Serve this dip with broken cannoli shells, pizzels, graham crackers, pretzels, nilla wafers, or just about anything crunchy.

Cannoli Dip Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup Ricotta Cheese
2/3 cup Heavy Cream
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 cup Powder Sugar
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Marscapone Cheese
6 oz. of Mini Chocolate Chips

Directions
1- Place Ricotta Cheese in a cheese cloth and drain in the fridge over night in a colander in a bowl. (this is Jann’s secret – It gets all the extra liquid out so it is not runny)

2- The following day, add all ingredients into a bowl (except chocolate chips) and mix with a mixer until desired consistency. If you beat it too long, the cream will turn into butter.

3 – Once you reach your desired consistency than fold in your chocolate chips.

4 – Refrigerate, freeze or serve.

5 – Serve with cannoli chips, pretzels, gram crackers, and/or fruit.

If you make this, please come back and tell us what you think.
