Asparagus Puff Pastry with our Roasted Garlic Onion Jam

What you need:

  • 1 jar @stonewallkitchen Roasted Garlic Onion Jam

  • 1 sheet of frozen puff pastry, thawed

  • ¾ cup shredded gruyere cheese

  • ½ pound thin asparagus, ends removed and cut to fit the width of the puff pastry

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F degrees

  2. Lay puff pastry on a parchment paper lined baking sheet

  3. Using a knife, score the edges about 1 inch from all sides (don’t go all the way through, but enough to make a mark)

  4. Pierce the puff pastry with a fork and bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown

  5. Carefully remove from oven and evenly spread a layer of @stonewallkitchen Roasted Garlic Onion Jam, followed by the gruyere cheese and a single layer of asparagus.

  6. Bake for another 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and asparagus is cooked.

  7. Slice into 6-8 squares and serve immediately.
