Browned Butter Lobster Gnocchi
Browned Butter Lobster Gnocchi

Ingredients
-
1 lb. lobster claw & knuckle meat (cooked)
-
1 lb. potato gnocchi
-
4 tablespoons of butter
-
2 cloves of garlic, minced
-
½ cup of heavy cream (optional)
-
½ cup grated parmesan
-
½ lemon
-
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
-
salt and pepper to taste
-
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
-
chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Open and drain the defrosted Maine lobster claw & knuckle pack. Set aside.
2. In a medium pan at medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
3. Place the uncooked gnocchi in a single layer in the pan and sear until both sides of each gnocchi are lightly browned. This can take up to 10 minutes. Take the browned gnocchi out and set aside on a plate.
4. In the same pan, melt the butter in medium heat and whisk until it turns frothy and browned.
5. Add the gnocchi back in with the heat turned down to medium.
6. Add minced garlic, smoked paprika, and salt to taste.
7. Mix in the cream and the grated parmesan until well-incorporated.
8. Fold in the lobster claw & knuckle meat for a quick warm up. This will take only a couple minutes. Don’t overcook the lobster!
9. Sprinkle in chopped parsley and add freshly cracked pepper to taste.
10.Squeeze in the juice of ½ lemon right before serving.
