Italian Ortolana Pizza Recipe (“gardener’s pizza”)

 

What You Need
                                   

  • *Salt and pepper

  • *1 packet of liquid yeast or 1 cube

  • *250 ml of warm water

  • *Extra virgin olive oil 3 tablespoons

  • *2 ripe tomatoes

  • *80 g diced mozzarella

  • *2 zucchini cut into slices

  • *80 g of boiled asparagus

  • *2 basil leaves

  • *Half a clove of garlic 

 


How to do 

  1. Spread the pizza dough ortolana, previously kneaded and leavened according to the recipe common to all the pizzas.

  2. Wash the vegetables such as spinach, basil,zucchini and asparagus.

  3. Vegetables can be boiled or grilled according to your preferences.

  4. Dry the vegetables and cut them.

  5. Cover the dough with tomato slices and sprinkle evenly with the diced mozzarella.

  6. At this point settle the filling with vegetables.

  7. Optionally you can also use corn or broccoli or other vegetables of your choice.

  8. add the oil.

  9. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes at 220 ° C.
