There’s nothing quite like the Dancing of the Giglio! Each July since 1887, this beloved ritual celebrating San Paolino of Nola and Our Lady of Mount Carmel has meantt faith, culture, and family traditions to the Italian American neighborhood of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Join us as we come home to the neighborhood to explore the history and highlights of this world-renowned NYC summer tradition, meet some of the incredible men underneath this 4-ton spire of devotion, and set out to understand why Brooklyn’s “Festa del Giglio” might just be the greatest Feast in all of Italian America!
