Amaretto Chocolate Affogato

Sweet chocolate gelato drowned in boozy amaretto and steaming espresso


  •     2 scoops dark chocolate gelato

  •     2 oz. amaretto

  •     4 oz. hot espresso

  •     (optional) dark chocolate curls

  •     (optional) chopped hazelnuts


  1. Place scoops of gelato into two glasses.

  2. Pour 1 oz. amaretto over each scoop.

  3. Pour 2 oz. hot espresso around the edge of each glass.

  4. (optional) Sprinkle dark chocolate curls and chopped hazelnuts on top.

  5. Serve immediately before the ice cream melts.
