Fregolotta, Italian Crumb Cookie

A huge Italian crumb cookie

Ingredients

  • For 6 people:

  • Flour 200g

  • sugar 200g

  • shelled almonds 200g

  • 2 egg yolks

  • 2 tablespoons cream

  • butter 20 gr

  • salt.

 

PREPARATION

  1. Put the almonds in boiling water, spellatele and whisk together 3 tablespoons sugar.

  2. Pour the flour on a pastry in the crater and put in the egg yolks, ground almonds, cream sugar elo advanced. Knead until the dough will quickly granelloso.

  3. Grease a baking pan with butter, pour the mixture and pressatelo lightly with your hands until you have a layer of about 1 cm.

  4. Put in a preheated oven at 180 degrees and cook for about 30 minutes.

  5. Remove from the oven, let cool and serve.
