Fried figs
Ingredients
for 4 people:

12 big and not too ripe figs

1 egg
-
6 tablespoons of flour

milk
-
extra virgin olive oil
-
3 tablespoons of granulated sugar

salt.
PREPARATION

Shell egg in a bowl and mix with flour, a pinch of salt and enough milk to get a soft batter.

As soon as the mixture will be smooth, put it in the fridge to rest for about 1 hour.

Wash and dry the figs delicately, then dip them in batter and fry in hot oil. As they become puffed and golden, drain and place them on a paper towel.

Sprinkle with sugar and serve warm.
