Parmesan Baskets with Pasta

These Parmesan Baskets give a nice presentation for your meal!



  • 100g parmesan

  • olive oil

  • 150g trofie or other pasta

  • 2 zucchini

  • 150g pancetta

  • 3 tablespoons cream for cooking

  • Salt to taste

  • pepper as needed

  • 2 tablespoons cooking water

  • onion

  • fontina cheese


  1. Pour the parmesan cheese in a frying pan and form a circle.

  2. Cook for a few seconds and remove from stove.

  3. Place the cheese circle on  a bowl and mold it with your hands gently, then wait for it to cool.Fry in a pan the onion in olive oil, then add the zucchini and pancetta and cook for a few minutes.

  4. Add the cream and mix, meanwhile cook the pasta al dente and a bit of cooking water.

  5. Pour the dough into the pan and mix well together with Parmesan and fontina.

  6. Then pour in the baskets of Parmesan cheese and serve!

  7. What a great way to serve a first course!
