Recipe: Broccoli di Rape Stufati (Sauteed Broccoli Rabe)

1 pound broccoli rabe

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

3 cloves garlic, sliced

Crushed red pepper flakes, to taste

Pepper to taste

Whole peppers, for garnish
Directions

Bring a large saucepan of lightly salted water to a boil.

Have a bowl of ice water standing by.

Prepare broccoli rabe by trimming ends and removing any yellowed leaves.

Drop in broccoli rabe and cook 4 minutes.

Move broccoli rabe to ice water and cool, then drain.

Can be prepared up to 1 day ahead and refrigerated.
