Smacafam

Smacafam is an old, traditional Italian dish hailing from Trentino. Translated from local dialect, it means scaccia fame, meaning hunger crusher, referring to the ability of this dish to nourish the body and bust the appetites.

Ingredients For 4 people:

Cornmeal 250 gr

lard 60 grams

2 luganeghe (sausages)

beef broth 0.5 l

1 egg

bread crumbs

1 rind of bacon

Grana Padano cheese

salt, pepper.

PREPARATION

In a bowl, pour the cornmeal with the broth and stir in a way that does not create lumps and make a smooth paste, then add the bacon and breadcrumbs, chopped sausage, cheese and beaten egg. Season with salt and pepper and pour into a greased cake pan then put in preheated oven at 180 ° for the right cooking time that will be golden.

Serve warm.
