Strawberries Marinated In White Wine

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh strawberries, stemmed and sliced thick

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar

  • 1½ cups fruity white wine, such as Vin Santo

Instructions

  1. Mix strawberries, sugar, and wine in a medium bowl until sugar dissolves. Let stand 30 minutes up to 3 hours.

  2. Serve.
