Strawberry Shortcake with Sambuca

Make shortcake as you like with sponge cake, pound cake, or biscuits. Add SAMBUCA to your strawberries and WOW! It really makes a difference


Serves: about 4

  • 4 Cups Sliced Fresh Strawberries

  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar

  • 2 Tbsp. Sambuca (you can substitute with a little anise extract)

  • Cake, sponge cake, or biscuits

  • Whipped Cream


  1. Make your shortcake as you normally like it.

  2. The difference is in the berries.

  3. Mix the fresh sliced berries with the sugar and Sambuca and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

  4. Put your shortcake together in layers – with the berries and whipped cream!
