Baked Apple Doughnuts

Baked Apple Doughnuts


  • 3 cups flour

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp nutmeg

  • 1 stick butter, softened

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup milk

  • 4 apples (peeled, cored, & diced)


  • Spray butter

  • 1 cup Sugar

  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray a mini muffin pan (doughnut holes) or mini bundt (fill 1/2 full so it stays the shape of a doughnut) with cooking spray.

  2. Combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. Set aside.

  3. Combine butter, eggs, & milk. Mix until well combined. Slowly add in dry ingredients until well mixed. Fold in apples.

  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

  5. While baking combine sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl. When you remove the doughnuts from the oven spray them with spray butter and roll them in the cinnamon sugar
