Ingredients

  • for 6-8 people:

  • Ziti or penne (or other short pasta) 350 gr

  • potatoes 200g

  • tomatoes 250g

  • sausage 100 gr

  • caciocavallo cheese 100g

  • ½ onion

  • 1 green pepper, sweet or spicy

  • basil leaves

  • olive oil

  • salt.

PREPARATION

  1. In a saucepan, sauté the finely sliced ​​onion with olive oil for a few minutes. Wash the tomatoes then free them from the skin and seeds and scatter it coarsely, then add them to the onions and cook for a few minutes.

  2. Add the chopped pepper, basil and salt and continue to cook for about 15 minutes.

  3. Separately, boil for 5 minutes, the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water; Boil the potatoes, peeled and sliced, finally cut into slices ​​sausage and cheese.

  4. In a pan place a layer of potatoes, season with tomato sauce and settle on a bit ‘of sausage and cheese. Continue with a layer of pasta, season with more sauce and even sausage and cheese until all ingredients are used.

  5. Bake in preheated oven at 180 ° C for 25 minutes and serve.
