Cabbage with sausage


Ingredients
for 4 people:
- 
1 cabbage about 750 gr
 - 
potatoes 500 gr
 - 
1 liter of broth, hot
 - 
bacon 200g
 - 
1 onion
 - 
pork sausage 250 gr
 - 
1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
 - 
olive oil
 - 
salt.
 
PREPARATION
- 
Clean the cabbage, cut into four pieces and remove the core, then wash it and cut it into strips.
 - 
Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into slices.
 - 
Arrange the potatoes and cabbage in a saucepan, add the hot broth, season with salt and sprinkle with caraway seeds then simmer with a lid and heat for 45 minutes.
 - 
Meanwhile, peel the onion and cut into slices, cut the bacon into cubes and brown bacon in a pan with a little olive oil for about 3 minutes, then add the onion and cook for 3 more minutes.
 - 
Peel and crumble the sausage then add to the pan with the bacon and onion and cook for 4 minutes.
 - 
If necessary, add more salt to the cooking cabbage then place it in a bowl and pour over the hot onions, sausage and bacon sauce.
 
Serve hot.
