Calabrian bocconotti

Ingredients

  • for 8 people:

  • Flour 1 kg

  • sugar 400g

  • grape jam (or other fruit)

  • lard 300 gr

  • 6 eggs.

PREPARATION

  • Pour the flour on a pastry board, then add the sugar, lard and eggs. Knead well until mixture is smooth and homogeneous then, roll out the dough into a sheet, not too thin and, with this, lining the small round molds, previously greased with lard.

  • Fill the molds with jam and cover with a layer of pasta by welding the edges.

  • Bake in preheated oven at 200 ° C until will be golden brown.

  • Serve cold.
