Sole Gaeta’ style

Ingredients

  • For 4 people:

  • Sole fillets 400 gr

  • margarine 100 gr

  • 5 tablespoons of lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs

  • 1 teaspoon of oregano

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • salt, pepper.

PREPARATION

  1. Grease a large baking pan with margarine and arrange the fillets of soles adjacent to each other and then sprinkle with the breadcrumbs.

  2. Sprinkle with lemon, add salt, pepper and oregano; then add the garlic cloves cut in two pieces and put on the surface still a few knobs of margarine.

  3. Place in preheated oven at 160 degrees and cook for about 15 minutes. Will be cooked when the surface will have formed a golden crust.

  4. If you want you can add further lemon juice.
